Profile quality assurance team renews ISO certification, achieves major milestone

Profile Extrusion ISO 9000 certificateHard work, attention to detail, and customer-focused business values contributed to another major milestone for the Profile Extrusion team this month with the renewal of our ISO-9000 certification.

The certification — which requires a comprehensive three-year evaluation including multiple on-site inspections — recognizes Profile’s adherence to globally recognized standards in quality, efficiency and customer service.

“The ISO-9000 certification is the reward for our efforts to continually improve as a company,” said Profile Extrusion Quality Manager Keith Doegg, who led the team effort for certification. “At Profile, we’re committed to innovation and excellence in manufacturing, but our focus is always on taking care of the customer. As we grow, it’s vital to us that we preserve that small-company aspect the helped us to grow in the first place.”

Profile Extrusion’s ISO History

Profile Extrusion was first ISO-certified in 2011. In that same year Profile demonstrated its commitment to continue to invest in equipment with the installation of yet another state-of-the-art extrusion press at the Rome, Georgia facility. Over the last three years, Profile has adopted new, innovative manufacturing procedures and updated old procedures, adding to the plant’s overall efficiency. While Profile has grown both as a company and in output, the 2014 ISO certification proves Profile’s continued commitment to manufacturing quality aluminum products and meeting both customer needs and expectations.

Profile has added another team member, Elton Freeman, to the Quality Assurance department to maintain the company’s record for success and continual growth in 2014 and beyond.
